Rules and Regulations

This will be a multi species tournament where you can submit any of the following species. Catfish, Large Mouth Bass, Striped Bass, and Rainbow Trout.

Only your top 5 longest fish of the tournament are counted and you can submit any combination of species.

Prizes: Prize pool is total Net of tournament registrations

  • 1st Place: 45% of the division's prize pool
  • 2nd Place: 35% of the division's prize pool
  • 3rd Place: 20% of the division's prize pool

How It Works

  1. Total Pool: The total prize pool will be collected from all entry fees.
  2. Division Allocation: The prize pool will be divided among the three divisions based on the total number of fish logged in each division. The more fish logged, the higher the percentage of the total pool allocated to that division.
  3. Individual Prizes: Within each division, prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors as a percentage of that division's allocated pool.

Example:

If the total prize pool is $3,000 and the fish logged are:

  • Catfish: 100 fish
  • Large Mouth Bass: 150 fish
  • Striped Bass: 50 fish

The allocation would be:

  • Catfish Division: 100/300 = 33.3% of the total pool = $1,000
  • Large Mouth Bass Division: 150/300 = 50% of the total pool = $1,500
  • Striped Bass Division: 50/300 = 16.7% of the total pool = $500

Prizes for Catfish Division (with $1,000 pool):

  • 1st Place: 45% = $450
  • 2nd Place: 35% = $350
  • 3rd Place: 20% = $200

Prizes for Large Mouth Bass Division (with $1,500 pool):

  • 1st Place: 45% = $675
  • 2nd Place: 35% = $525
  • 3rd Place: 20% = $300

Prizes for Striped Bass Division (with $500 pool):

  • 1st Place: 45% = $225
  • 2nd Place: 35% = $175
  • 3rd Place: 20% = $100

Scoring

  • Top 5 Fish: Scoring will be based on the angler's top 5 longest fish submitted in each division.
  • Submission Requirements: Submissions must include a picture of the fish with a measurement using a measuring device and a second picture of the angler with the fish featuring the tournament-provided hat.
