Inshore Slam - Wilmington
July 24 - August 9, 2020

CCA NC is proud to bring to Wilmington an inshore tournament that allows for the “weekend Warriors” and the dedicated fisherman alike ,an opportunity to get out on the water and enjoy the resources that our state has to offer. Thanks to the iangler phone app we are no longer limited to single day tournaments and weigh in stations. We are excited about this new era of catch , photo and release tournaments, allowing you to find the time to get out and catch some fish! The tournament will begin on July 23rd and run through August 9th.

100% Catch and Release Tournament!

  • The iAngler Tournament app allows your phone to replace the weigh station and gives your catch an opportunity to live for another day so that we can do our part to “Let ‘Em Spawn!”
  • Each time you catch one of the valid tournament species’, you can take a photo of your catch with the wrist band, submit the photo to our judges for scoring, and track live leaderboard updates all within the iAnger app!

Registration:

  • Individual Entries
    • No need to worry about filling a team or leaving an odd man out. Fish with friends or go solo. On a boat, off your dock, in the surf, wherever you want!
    • Anglers must be current or new CCA member in order to be eligible for prizes and giveaways
  • Current CCA Members - $15 entry fee
    • Membership must be valid through final day of tournament at minimum
  • New CCA Members - $40 entry fee
    • Become eligible for all of the great prizes and giveaways in the tournament and enjoy all of the perks and benefits of a year of CCA membership
  • Rising Tide Members – FREE (ages 14 & under)
    • Must be accompanied by a registered adult

Captains Party:
July 23rd 6pm at Avalanche Motor Sports 7722 Market St Wilmington, NC 28411

  • All Anglers must be present at the Captains Party in order to receive your official Tournament wrist band. (If unable to attend, anglers must send someone in their place or notify CCA NC no later than Monday July 6th to allow for captain’s party headcount to be adjusted and to arrange for wrist band pickup)
  • Enjoy food, beverages and giveaways while you get the details on the Tournament Rules and Regulations.

Target Species for SLAM: Red Drum/Flounder

  • Scoring based on aggregate total of the 3 longest catches for each species (rounded up
    to nearest ¼ inch)
  • i.e.- Aggregate of your 3 longest red drum + Aggregate of your 3 longest flounder= total score
  • a valid entry for each of the two species > total length for any one species regardless of total length

TWT (Longest fish wins each division below) $10 entry fee for each division

  • Official tournament Wrist band permitted
  • Measurement on a standard ruler must be clearly visible with the wrist band shown in the photo.
  • Photo must also be time stamped to count
  • Measurements based on nose to “pinched” tail length

COASTAL CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION NORTH CAROLINA, ET AL

For good valuable consideration, including without limitation the acceptance of the undersigned's entry or participation in the CCA Florida - 2020 World Oceans Day "Trash Tournament" on June 3, 2019 (the "Event") and being permitted to participate in certain related activities, the undersigned, for himself and his personal representatives, heirs, guest, invitees, employees and crew members hereby (1) RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES, AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the following:

and their Chapters, subsidiaries, related entities, respective members, volunteers, heirs, successors, assigns, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors and subcontractors (collectively, the "Releasees") from all liability to the undersigned, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin, and for all loss or damage, and all claims or damages therefor, on account of bodily injury, personal injury, death or property damage of or to the undersigned, his guests, invitee, employees or crew, during the Event or arising out of or in any way in connection with the Event and related activities or while the undersigned is competing, or participating, regardless of whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Releasees; (2) AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Releasees and each of them from and against all claims, actions, causes of action, damages, liabilities, losses and judgments (collectively, the "Claims") of or by all guests, invitee, employees and crew of the undersigned for bodily injury, personal injury, death or property damage which they may suffer or incur during the Event or arising out of or in any way in connection with the Event or related activities, regardless of whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Releasees; and (3) ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY for and risk of bodily injury, personal injury, death or property damage of or to himself, his guests, invitees, employees or crew and his boat and equipment due to negligence of Releasees or otherwise during the Event or while participating in the Event or related activities or while in or on the Event premises and the common properties and recreational areas and adjacent docks, piers and boat slips.

The undersigned agrees to pay all of the Releasees' costs of defending all Claims and further agrees that this Release, Indemnification and Agreement Not to Sue is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of North Carolina and that, if any portion of this agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
