2020 "Release Over 20”
State Wide Holiday Trout Bash
December 11, 2020 thru January 3, 2021
A Coupon Code is required for registration on this site. Please go to https://ccanc.org/troutbash/ to register in the tournament and get the Coupon Code.
The "2020 Release Over 20” Trout Bash will be a statewide tournament from Friday, 12/11 to Sunday, 1/3 and powered by the iAngler Tournament app which allows participating anglers to fish anywhere and at anytime by submitting catch photos to our judges directly through the app
Entry Fee: $35 per angler (Your Entry Includes, Mailed Direct to you)

Target Species: Spotted Seatrout
- Scoring based on aggregate total of the 3 longest catches (rounded up
to nearest ¼ inch) - Aggregate of your 3 longest trout= total score
“Release Over 20” BIG Fish TWT (Largest single fish length wise that is released)
- • Winner will receive a custom CCA Engel Cooler 50qt
100% Catch and Release Tournament!
- The iAngler Tournament app allows your phone to replace the weigh station and gives your catch an opportunity to live for another day so that we can do our part to “Let ‘Em Spawn!”
- Each time you catch one of the valid tournament species’, you can take a photo of your catch with the wrist band, submit the photo to our judges for scoring, and track live leaderboard updates all within the iAnger app!
The TWT for trout is being sponsored by our friends at Eyestrike Fishing in conjunction with the 'Release Over 20” campaign - If you submit any photos of trout over 20” at www.releaseover20.com and enter “CCA Inshore Slam” into the box that asks for Guide Company, you will be entered into a separate drawing for an awesome prize from Eyestrike
iAngler Tournament Registration:
- In order to log your catches you will need to register on iAngler Tournament and download the app for your phone. Make sure to do this prior to the start of the tournament.
- After your registration was processed on the CCA website you should have received an email with a receipt for your purchase, instructions for registering on iAngler Tournament, and a coupon code to bypass the $40 payment on iAngler Tournament.

Captains Party:
A captain’s party will be held on Thursday, 12/10 where anglers can gather for a socially distanced drink or two and learn all necessary rules & regulations.

Tournament Rules and Regulations:
Target Species: Spotted Seatrout

Photo Requirements:
Once you catch a trout, take a photo of your catch with the wrist band, submit the photo to our judges for scoring, and track live leaderboard updates all within the iAnger app!
- Official tournament Wrist band permitted
- Measurement on a standard ruler must be clearly visible with the wrist band shown in the photo.
- Photo must also be time stamped to count
- Measurements based on nose to “pinched” tail length

RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE
COASTAL CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION NORTH CAROLINA, ET ALFor good valuable consideration, including without limitation the acceptance of the undersigned's entry or participation in the CCA Florida - 2020 World Oceans Day "Trash Tournament" on June 3, 2019 (the "Event") and being permitted to participate in certain related activities, the undersigned, for himself and his personal representatives, heirs, guest, invitees, employees and crew members hereby (1) RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES, AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the following:

and their Chapters, subsidiaries, related entities, respective members, volunteers, heirs, successors, assigns, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors and subcontractors (collectively, the "Releasees") from all liability to the undersigned, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin, and for all loss or damage, and all claims or damages therefor, on account of bodily injury, personal injury, death or property damage of or to the undersigned, his guests, invitee, employees or crew, during the Event or arising out of or in any way in connection with the Event and related activities or while the undersigned is competing, or participating, regardless of whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Releasees; (2) AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Releasees and each of them from and against all claims, actions, causes of action, damages, liabilities, losses and judgments (collectively, the "Claims") of or by all guests, invitee, employees and crew of the undersigned for bodily injury, personal injury, death or property damage which they may suffer or incur during the Event or arising out of or in any way in connection with the Event or related activities, regardless of whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Releasees; and (3) ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY for and risk of bodily injury, personal injury, death or property damage of or to himself, his guests, invitees, employees or crew and his boat and equipment due to negligence of Releasees or otherwise during the Event or while participating in the Event or related activities or while in or on the Event premises and the common properties and recreational areas and adjacent docks, piers and boat slips.
The undersigned agrees to pay all of the Releasees' costs of defending all Claims and further agrees that this Release, Indemnification and Agreement Not to Sue is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of North Carolina and that, if any portion of this agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
