The 2021 State Wide "Holiday Trout Bash" will be a statewide tournament from Saturday, 10/23 to Saturday, 1/1 and powered by the iAngler Tournament app which allows participating anglers to fish anywhere and at any time by submitting catch photos to our judges directly through the app
Entry Fee: $25 per angler (First 50 anglers to sign up will be entered in to win a 35qt Engel Cooler and will go home with a pack of Slam Shady Soft Plastics)
Target Species: Spotted Seatrout
- Scoring based on aggregate total of the 3 longest catches (rounded up
to nearest ¼ inch) - Aggregate of your 3 longest trout= total score
Day 1 TWT: $20 Separate Entry “Release Over 20” BIG Fish TWT (Largest single fish length wise that is released)
• October 23rd 7:30 am, Lines in the Water. Depart from Town Creek Marina. 3:00pm Lines Out.
• Largest Speckled Trout on the day takes TWT Payout ( Must be Present to Win)
100% Catch and Release Tournament!
- The iAngler Tournament app allows your phone to replace the weigh station and gives your catch an opportunity to live for another day so that we can do our part to “Let ‘Em Spawn!”
- Each time you catch one of the valid tournament species’, you can take a photo of your catch with the wrist band, submit the photo to our judges for scoring, and track live leaderboard updates all within the iAnger app!
iAngler Tournament Registration:
- In order to log your catches you will need to register on iAngler Tournament and download the app for your phone. Make sure to do this prior to the start of the tournament.
- After your registration was processed on the CCA website you should have received an email with a receipt for your purchase, instructions for registering on iAngler Tournament, and a coupon code to bypass the $40 payment on iAngler Tournament.
- If you did not receive this email, please check your spam folder. If you still don’t have it, contact matthew@ccanc.org
Captains Party:
This years captain’s party will be held 4:00pm on Saturday, 10/23 at Town Creek Marina, Beaufort NC. Anglers can gather for a drink or two and learn all necessary rules & regulations. We will award the Day One TWT winner and also have raffles, door prizes a food truck and more!!!Tournament Schedule:

Tournament Rules and Regulations:
Target Species: Spotted Seatrout
- Scoring based on aggregate total of the 3 longest catches (rounded up

Once you catch a trout, take a photo of your catch with the wrist band, submit the photo to our judges for scoring, and track live leaderboard updates all within the iAnger app!
• Official tournament Wrist band permitted
• Measurement on a standard ruler must be clearly visible with the wrist band shown in the photo.
• Photo must also be time stamped to count
• Measurements based on nose to “pinched” tail length
• Only paid Anglers with wristbands can enter a fish, preferably everyone fishing on the boat should be entered into the tournament but if not, by no means are you allowed to count a fish caught by someone else in your boat!!
• In the case of a dispute or suspicion of cheating occurs, winner could be subject to a lie detector test. The opposition angler would have to put up the $100 to cover the test. If the winner passes the test opposition loses the $100.
• Please do your best to take good quality photos , showing the whole fish. Judges reserve the right to throw out photos that do not meet the requirements.

• Tournament Wristbands will be handed out that night as well as that morning for those fishing the TWT event. You will need the wristband to participate in the tournament starting October 23rd-Janurary 1st. If you cannot attend the Captains Party that night we will have wristbands available at certain locations around the state:
• Locations: Eastern Outfitters( Hampstead), Custom Marine Fabrication(New Bern), Sportsman Wholesale(Morehead City), EZ Bait and Tackle (Goldsboro), CCA Office (Raleigh), Tex’s Tackle (Wilmington)
• If these locations do not work for you please reach out via email, send us your address and we will ship one in the mail.
• CCA Office – Raleigh: Only open M-Th 8am-4pm. Please call in advance: 919-781-FISH (3474)
• New Bern – Contact Matthew Wallin at 757-508-3980 or matthew@ccanc.org If none of these options work for you, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to work something out and make sure that everyone gets their wristband

RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE
COASTAL CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION NORTH CAROLINA, ET ALFor good valuable consideration, including without limitation the acceptance of the undersigned's entry or participation in the CCA Florida - 2020 World Oceans Day "Trash Tournament" on June 3, 2019 (the "Event") and being permitted to participate in certain related activities, the undersigned, for himself and his personal representatives, heirs, guest, invitees, employees and crew members hereby (1) RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES, AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE the following:

and their Chapters, subsidiaries, related entities, respective members, volunteers, heirs, successors, assigns, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors and subcontractors (collectively, the "Releasees") from all liability to the undersigned, his personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin, and for all loss or damage, and all claims or damages therefor, on account of bodily injury, personal injury, death or property damage of or to the undersigned, his guests, invitee, employees or crew, during the Event or arising out of or in any way in connection with the Event and related activities or while the undersigned is competing, or participating, regardless of whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Releasees; (2) AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Releasees and each of them from and against all claims, actions, causes of action, damages, liabilities, losses and judgments (collectively, the "Claims") of or by all guests, invitee, employees and crew of the undersigned for bodily injury, personal injury, death or property damage which they may suffer or incur during the Event or arising out of or in any way in connection with the Event or related activities, regardless of whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence of Releasees; and (3) ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY for and risk of bodily injury, personal injury, death or property damage of or to himself, his guests, invitees, employees or crew and his boat and equipment due to negligence of Releasees or otherwise during the Event or while participating in the Event or related activities or while in or on the Event premises and the common properties and recreational areas and adjacent docks, piers and boat slips.
The undersigned agrees to pay all of the Releasees' costs of defending all Claims and further agrees that this Release, Indemnification and Agreement Not to Sue is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of North Carolina and that, if any portion of this agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
