2023 INSHORE INSANITY

Ellison Construction’s 7th annual Inshore Insanity tournament benefits the Tampa Metropolitan YMCA. This year’s tournament is presented by FleischmanGarciaMalowski Architecture and BDG Architects. Get ready for an insane day on the water while benefiting a great cause!

- Tournament hours: Lines in the water at 9:00 am and you must return to the dock by 2:00 pm.
Tournament entries must be submitted by 1:59 pm through the iAngler app. - Species for the tournament are listed on the SPECIES LIST on the reverse side of these rules.
- Only ONE fish per species per team/boat will be allowed for entry in each category. All fish must be photographed alive with the provided wristband and the My Little Pony rod if it’s a Calcutta entry and sent via the iAngler app. Images sent without the provided wristband will not be included in the tournament.
- Awards are based on the MOST POINTS ACCUMULATED. Ties will be broken by the first fish image sent in via the iAngler app.
- While there are no boundaries for the tournament, we recommend you be mindful of the time limit for the tournament to ensure guests have a good day on the water catching fish.
- Fishing will be done with rods and reels only. All fish must be caught on the day of the tournament. A net may be used to land fish into the boat. You may not leave the boat to catch fish. No fishing from land. No fishing within 100 feet of any boat ramps, marinas, or cleaning stations.
- No fishing line or leader over 30lb will be allowed. The My Little Pony Calcutta rods you cannot change or add line to the reel and no more than a 2-foot leader not more than 30lbs. The Rod must be in the photo with the fish. The longest fish caught wins.
- All coolers and live wells are subject to inspection.
- All Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC) and U.S. Coast Guard rules and regulations apply to licensing and vessel operations. Anyone receiving a violation during tournament hours is subject to disqualification.
Unannounced visits or inspections by FWC officials may occur at any time during the tournament. - Any protest must be presented to tournament officials within 15 minutes after the tournament ends and will be acted on immediately. Tournament official decisions are final.
- Awards for the tournament: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team awards
